Endocrine and Diabetes Associates, LLC

January 29, 2024

Dear Patients,

After almost forty years in practice, I have decided to retire as of March 30, 2024, and we are permanently closing Endocrine and Diabetes Associates.

It has been my pleasure and privilege to come to know so many of you and your families since starting my clinical practice in 1985.  I have valued your friendships, your stories, and the wisdom that you have shared with me. I’ve loved learning something new every day, often through our interactions at visits. You’ve helped me to understand, and better advise others, how to meet the challenges of improving and maintaining good health.

With your support, our group grew to become a respected Endocrine practice providing quality, compassionate care in our community. I’ve enjoyed the opportunity to work with great colleagues, and I want to especially thank my staff for their years of commitment to our practice and patients.

I’m happy to inform you that Drs. Beatriz Chanduvi, Archana Shetty, Anurag Gupta and Yemul Almecci each individually plan to continue a clinical practice in Montgomery County. Specific information about their practices will continue to be updated on our website.

The final day for patient appointments is March 29, 2024, with some administrative services for the closure and medical records transfer in April. You may contact me by web message before April 1. Please review the instructions on our website www.endocrinemd.net for our referral list to other local Endocrinologists, as well as other information to help with the transition.   If needed, you may reach me by email ppetrick@endocrinemd.net, or by text including your name, to my work cell, 301-983-3734.

I wish you the very best of health and happiness in the future.

Fondest regards,

Patricia Petrick, MD
